This year, two Nepali climbers, Kami Rita Sherpa and Lhakpa Sherpa, broke their own records for ascents on the world's highest mountain.
Their achievement is all the more remarkable given the unforgiving conditions they faced. Kami Rita, known as the "Everest Man," has been climbing for over three decades.
