Driver Restrained by Bystanders After Melbourne Crash A car crashed into multiple vehicles and pedestrians on St Kilda Road in Melbourne's inner suburbs yesterday evening, leaving several people injured and one dead.
The crash occurred at around 8:45 PM. Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic, with people screaming and running in all directions. One eyewitness, Sarah Lee, said it was like nothing she had ever seen before.
"The driver got out of the car and just started running towards the crowd," she recalled. "People had to grab him and hold him down until the police arrived.
